What We Believe
We believe Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. He is our teacher, our guide, our friend, and our Shepherd.
We believe we can do all things through faith in Him, and that His strength meets us right where we are.
We believe faith isn’t meant to stay private. It should shape the way we live, love, and show up in the world.
We believe the way we follow Jesus can point others to Him through how we speak, respond, serve, create, and care.
We believe love and generosity can change lives, including our own.
We believe discipleship doesn’t have to look big. It happens in the small, faithful moments of everyday life too.
And we believe bold faith looks like obedience, not perfection.
Our Mission
Talmida exists to help women know God more deeply, follow Jesus closely, and walk boldly in faith in everyday life.
Through His Word, prayer, Bible study, thoughtful resources, and learning alongside one another, we want to keep growing in faith and recognizing the many ordinary ways God teaches us and shapes us along the way.
Walking boldly doesn’t always mean being loud. It means letting Jesus be seen in the way we love, speak, serve, give, make choices, and show up in the world. It means carrying His Word into real life, sharing the hope we’ve found in Him, and encouraging one another to do the same, each in the unique way God has created us to.

ROOTED IN TRUTH
Everything we create and share starts with the unchanging Word of God. His truth is our foundation, our filter, and the place we keep coming back to.
EVERYDAY DISCIPLESHIP
Faith isn’t meant to sit in one part of our lives. We follow Jesus in the ordinary moments too: in our choices, relationships, work, conversations, and the way we show up every day.
BOLD FAITH WITH GRACE
We want to walk boldly in faith without losing grace along the way. That means living what we believe, sharing the hope we have in Jesus, speaking truth with kindness, and letting others see Him in the way we live.
DESIGN WITH PURPOSE
We believe beauty can point us back to what matters. Everything we create is meant to do more than look good; it should encourage, remind, start a conversation, or help keep truth close in everyday life.
GENEROSITY IN ACTION
Faith moves us beyond ourselves. We want generosity to be part of Talmida from the beginning, giving what we can, serving where we can, and using what we build here to help share God’s love with others.
How We Give
Generosity has been part of Talmida from the beginning. Right now, $1 from every order goes to Global Frontier Missions, a ministry working to make disciples and meet both physical and spiritual needs in communities with little access to the Gospel.
We believe giving is one of the ways we live out our faith, so we don’t want generosity to be something we save for someday when Talmida is bigger. We’re starting where we are.
As Talmida grows, our goal is to move toward percentage-based giving so our generosity grows with us. And over time, we hope to support even more ministries doing meaningful work and sharing the love of Jesus around the world.
I think this keeps everything from the original, but the line “We’re starting where we are” makes it feel much more human and Talmida-like.

FOUNDER OF TALMIDA
For a long time, I’ve felt a steady pull to build something that could be used for God’s Kingdom. That idea started years ago when I found my way back to Jesus.
There’s a much longer story there, but the short version is that I had wandered pretty far from Him. I was distracted by the world, overwhelmed by life, and trying to find my way without Him. He met me there, brought me back, and changed the direction of my life.
Since then, I’ve been learning what it looks like to follow Jesus one ordinary day at a time. And somewhere along the way, I started thinking more and more about other women doing the same thing: women who want to know God more deeply, understand His Word, grow in faith, and live what they believe in the middle of real life. That’s where Talmida began.
At first, it was much more of a shop. I love creating, and I still believe the things we wear, write in, give, and keep around us can carry truth with us and even open the door to conversations about Jesus.
But the more Talmida grew, the clearer it became that I wanted it to be more than things.
I wanted a place for Bible study, encouragement, honest questions, stories, prayer, and learning alongside one another. A place that helps women draw closer to God and then walk boldly in faith wherever He has placed them. That’s what I’m building now.
